The Age of Apocalypse is coming in the first trailer for the movie X-Men: Apocalypse. View trailer below.

Since the dawn of civilization, he was worshiped as a god. Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant from Marvel’s X-Men universe, amassed the powers of many other mutants, becoming immortal and invincible. Upon awakening after thousands of years, he is disillusioned with the world as he finds it and recruits a team of powerful mutants, including a disheartened Magneto (Michael Fassbender), to cleanse mankind and create a new world order, over which he will reign. As the fate of the Earth hangs in the balance, Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) with the help of Professor X (James McAvoy) must lead a team of young X-Men to stop their greatest nemesis and save mankind from complete destruction. It will be one of the greatest tests these Marvel superheroes have ever faced.

I’ve actually liked all younger generation X-Men movies (First Class and Days of Future Past), so naturally I like the trailer for Apocalypse. The trailer showed off a butt load of new characters including Sophie Turner’s Jean Grey, Olivia Munn’s Pyslocke, Alexandra Shipp’s Storm (sporting a cool new duo), while also seeing the return of Rose Byrne’s Mctaggart and fan favorite Quicksilver (played by Peter Evans). You looks get to see James McAvoy’s Xavier bald for the first time as well the film main antagonist Apocalypse (played by Oscar Isaac). Will definitely be seeing this movie when it comes. Can’t wait.
