Katniss Everdeen’s journey ends in the new trailer for the epic conclusion of The Hunger Game: Mockingjay Part 2. View trailer below.

With the nation of Panem in a full scale war, Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) confronts President Snow (Donald Sutherland) in the final showdown. Teamed with a group of her closest friends – including Gale (Hemsworth), Finnick (Sam Claflin), and Peeta (Hutcherson) – Katniss goes off on a mission with the unit from District 13 as they risk their lives to stage an assassination attempt on President Snow who has become increasingly obsessed with destroying her. The mortal traps, enemies, and moral choices that await Katniss will challenge her more than any arena she faced in The Hunger Games.

Now that’s a trailer! Definitely gave me goosebumps. This looks to be a grand finale to the movie franchise and looks ten times better than the lackluster Mockingjay Part 1 film. Let’s hope, with all the anticipation and hype that will build in the coming months, that the movie lives up to the expectations. I certainly hope so.
