Vantis Pictures and Calanda Pictures present the trailer for Robert Kouba’s Sci-fi thriller film Aurora. View trailer below.
In 2020, super-computer Kronos concludes that human beings are the biggest threat to the planet. 60 years later, Andrew finds himself lost in a world run by machines when he meets Calia, a girl on the way to a place called Aurora.
My initial thoughts for this trailer are mixed. Yes, the trailer looks pretty interesting and the music featured feels awesome. However, after viewing the trailer, the film feels like a mix of Terminator and a generic teen dystopian film (i.e. Hunger Games, Divergent, Maze Runner, etc). Regardless, I do want to see this movie.
Aurora is said to being released on July 7th, 2015. But its platform release is unknown at this time. It could open in theaters (nationwide or select theaters) or even on digital format.
